- Hi,
- I am currently using the demo version of AmiTCP v4, with slip
- talking to dialer.device (which in turn uses serial.device). When I
- try to make a connection and fail I get a requester informing me that
- the device could not be opened. The requester is, of course, a big
- problem when using this in a script run from as a cron job at 3am -
- no-one around to cancel it (NoReq is no good in this case - I guess
- that it can't find the correct process to hack).
-
- Does the commercial version of AmiTCP have a way of
- dealing with this - ie a switch to disable the requester or
- something like this ?
-
- Thanks,
- Richard
