  13.     I am currently using the demo version of AmiTCP v4, with slip
  14. talking to dialer.device (which in turn uses serial.device). When I
  15. try to make a connection and fail I get a requester informing me that
  16. the device could not be opened.  The requester is, of course, a big
  17. problem when using this in a script run from as a cron job at 3am -
  18. no-one around to cancel it (NoReq is no good in this case - I guess
  19. that it can't find the correct process to hack).

  21.     Does the commercial version of AmiTCP have a way of
  22. dealing with this - ie a switch to disable the requester or
  23. something like this ?
